Transformative Songwriting Course

Where songwriting becomes a path to self-discovery and power

6-week course | 13th February - 20th March
Online or at my music studios in Central Stockholm

There’s a song inside you.
Maybe it’s been whispering for years.
Maybe it used to flow easily and now feels distant.
Maybe you’ve never written a song before- but something in you knows you’re meant to begin.

In fact, there are many songs inside you.

And I can say this with confidence because having coached hundreds of people in creativity and self-expression, I’ve never found a person who can’t write a song.

What’s more, songwriting gets to be one of the deepest and most powerful tools for your self-discovering and personal growth.

This course is an invitation to stop waiting.
To stop overthinking.
To stop treating songwriting like something you’ll “get to someday.”

Transformative Songwriting is a 6-week journey where creativity meets personal growth—where your voice becomes a tool for emotional processing, self-discovery, and power.

This is not about writing “perfect” songs.
This is about writing true ones.

🎶 This course is for you if:

  • You want to write songs but haven’t started yet- and don’t know where to begin

  • You love songwriting, but you’re out of the flow or not making time for it

  • You feel emotions, insights, and stories moving through you that need expression

  • You’re into personal development, spirituality, or inner work, and want creativity to support that path

  • You want to explore new sides of yourself through sound, words, and melody

You don’t need to be a professional musician.

You don’t need years of training.

You just need curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to show up.

What makes this transformative?

In this course, songwriting becomes a mirror, a container, and a portal.

You’ll learn how to:

✨ Use songwriting to process emotions instead of bottling them up

✨ Access deeper self-insight through lyrics and melody

✨ Use your songs and how you express them as an embodiment practice to step into your power and explore new sides of yourself

✨ Explore new inner landscapes and identities through creative expression

✨ Reignite your creative flow—and actually make time for it

Each session blends:

Guided songwriting practices

✨ Emotional and somatic awareness

✨ Gentle but powerful facilitation

✨ Space for exploration, expression, and integration

Many people are shocked by what emerges when they stop trying to write “a good song” and start writing an honest one (which is actually what makes a good song, anyway 😉)

Testimonials

Hear some experiences of people who’ve experience Transformative Songwriting with me inside my programs.

Olivia

When Olivia took me on as her coach, she already had a musical relationship. She played the piano and had some musical experience.

But she hadn't written songs before. And then something shifted.

“Throughout the journey, I had so many realizations,” she shared. “It was like, I can rap. I love to rap. I can write songs. And I love to do that as well.”

What had once felt far away started to feel available.

“So many things that I had set up as boundaries for myself, like impossible walls around me, things I couldn’t do… all of a sudden, I had done them.”

For Olivia, this was the first time she had ever written songs.

And yet, very quickly, songwriting stopped being something theoretical and became something lived.

“I’ve started writing music and performing my own music, which feels so, so awesome.”

Nina

When Nina started with me as her coach, songwriting was not part of her identity at all. She had no musical background and no singing experience, and music felt like something other people did.

She remembers the moment it was first suggested. “I remember the first time you told me, Kim, that you saw a poem I wrote and said we should get me to write some songs during the program.

I was like, I don’t know. I don’t know anything about music. I might try that, but I don’t think I will.”

What felt uncertain at first slowly turned into curiosity. And curiosity turned into action.

By the end of the journey, Nina had written eight original songs, one cover, and two raps.

Even more importantly, songwriting became part of her life. “I have this routine now. I’m just going to keep writing songs and I love it. And I’m singing them.”

What surprised her most was not just the output, but the discovery. “It’s this whole new skill set that I didn’t even know I had. And that’s been so, so amazing.”

For Nina, Transformative Songwriting was not about learning music theory or getting it right. It was about uncovering something that had always been there and giving it permission to exist.
